“FotoSynthesis: See and Be Green!,” was a wildly fun and successful event attended by over 200 people! Major support from the ARETE Foundation and others helped raise over $61,000 for Literacy Through Photography.
The kid-focused event featured an array of fun and educational activities focused on "going green." Kids learned about widlife, recycling and organic gardening, then played dress-up at the photobooth and played detective at the scavenger hunt.
Thanks go out to all the FotoFun 2009 donors and activity partners. The funds raised by FotoFun 2009 support LTP in in over 100 classrooms in the Houston area; serving more than 40 teachers and 2,500 students.
